BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS
Graduation is a privilege. It is not a right. It is a happy and exciting occasion. Class and dignity should characterize it. This is not a ball game, pep rally, or rock concert. Behavior that might be appropriate
for those occasions is not acceptable for graduation. Items such as noisemakers, beach balls, confetti, or firecrackers are not in keeping with the type of behavior for which Valley and the Class of 2008 is known. We are not competing with any other schools. However, we are interested in maintaining the tradition of excellence that has been set in the past . We
will be observed by members of the Board of Education as well as members of the community. Let’s demonstrate behavior that we can be proud of and ask
that parents help us maintain the dignity of the occasion.
